Biker Boots

Selam kızlar! Hatırlarsanız geçen kış biker botlarla ilgili bir post yazmış ve kendim için de bir çift aradığımdan bahsetmiştim (Bakmak isterseniz buraya ). Ve komik ama Claire's de  bunları bulup bahara kadar çok severek kullanmıştım. Tabi kameram bozuk olduğu için uzun süre outfit post yapamadım ve sizlere gösteremedim. Neyse ki bugün havanın soğumasını fırsat bilip sezonun "bot giyme" dönemini başlattım :)

Hi girls! If you remember, I wrote a post about biker boots and mentioned that I was looking for a pair for myself last winter (Click here if you wanna check out) . So yes, I had found these ones from Claire's and wore for a long time last year. But, since my camera was down, I couldnt make any outfit post and show them to you. Today, I get "wearing boots season" started for this fall :)

Bu arada komik ama üstümdeki kot ceketi yaklaşık 1.5 sene önce aldım ve henüz bugün etiketi çıkarıldı :) Yani bugün ilk kez giydim :) Siftahını yapar yapmaz da zımbalanmak üzere kenara kaldırıldı.

Here's a fun fact : I had bought this denim jacket about 1.5 years ago and just cut its tag out today. So yeap, I wore it for the first time :) But now, it is reserved to get studded.

IFW'12

Istanbul Fashion Week'i henüz geride bıraktık ve şimdi defilelerle, sokak stillerini detaylıca inceleme zamanı. Açıkçası bu seneki şovlar ve koleksiyonlar beni önceki seneler kadar etkilemedi ama tabi hala bir kaç favorim var. Örneğin, Günseli Türkay'in desenleri kullanma konusunda harika bir yeteneğe sahip olduğuna ve Özgür Masur'un kesinlikle insanlara nasıl ilham vereceğini bildiğine eminim! Anladığınız üzere bu iki isim de benim bu seneki favorilerim oluyor. İşte bu seneki moda haftasından en sevdiğim kareler.

We just left Istanbul Fashion Week behind and now it's time for browsing shows and street styles in details. To be honest, the shows and collections did not impress me as much as the previous years but I still have a few favorites for sure. I think, Günseli Türkay has a great talent to use prints and Özgür Masur knows exactly how to inspire people! So, as you understand these two designers are my favorite. Now let me show you the pictures I love from this fashion week.

We Dont Wanna Be BigFoot!

Paris Moda Haftasında Celine'in İlkbahar - Yaz '13 defilesindeki ayakkabılar beni bu başlığı "haykırmaya" sürükledi diyebilirim. Celine'in her zaman koruduğu çizginin çok ötesinde, üstelik yaz mevsiminde giyilemeyecek şekilde kürkten yapılan bu ayakkabı ve terliklere tek diyebileceğim "Koca Ayak olmak istemiyoruz!" Umarım modanın alıp götürdüğü her noktaya ulaşmaya çalışan stilsiz ikonlar yüzünden bu görüntülere sokaklarda da rastlamayız!

I must have exclaimed this title when I first Celine's Spring - Summer '13 collection at Paris Fashion Week. I can only say "We dont wanna be Big Foot" for those furry shoes and sandals which are too away from Celine's elegant style. I hope, we dont see them on streets because of the fake fashion icons who follow fashion to wherever it pulls them!

DIY : Pearl Collar

Blogu çok boşladım değil mi? Ama bu arada hiç boş durmadım. Bir hafta Ankara, bir hafta İstanbul derken leyleği havada gördüm, nihayet evime döndüm :) Bu gezilerin en güzel kazancıysa uzun zamandır İzmir'de arayıp bulamadığım inci ve zımbalar oldu. Aklımda o kadar çok şey var ki yapacak, önce en kolayından başlayıp şuradaki gömleğin yakalarını inciledim.

I was not around here for a while, but I was kinda busy. I've been in Ankara and İstanbul last week, now Im home :) Im back with great gains like pearl beads and studs which I couldnt find in Izmir. I have too much to do in my mind, but just started with the easisest one. I sewed pearl beads to my mint Zara shirt's collar which I showed you here.

Biz ablamla çıkan sonuca bayıldık :) Siz de beğendiniz miii?

Skirt Over Pants?

Bu kez yazı başlığım bir soru : Skirt over Pants? Pantolon üstü etek? 

Bu sezon moda şovlarında sıkça gözüme çarpan bu detay artık sokak stillerine de taştı. Özellikle Chanel'in ceket-etek-pantolon takımlarıyla başı çektiği, Prada ve Fendi'nin takip ettiği trend, belki de fashionistaları en zorlayacak trend olacak. Çünkü bu defa elegan görünmekle rüküşler kraliçesi olmak arasında çok ince bir çizgi var!

This time it's a question : Skirt over Pants?

I've often seen this trend on runway lately and now it's on the streets! Chanel started with combinations of jacket-skirt-pants, Prada and Fendi followed as well. It must be challenging for fashionistas to comply with this trend since there's a thin line between being elegant and being frump at this time!

"Man Repeller" ın böyle güzel etek-pantolon kombinasyonları olmasına şaşmamalı :)

It's not a suprise that "Man Repeller" has two great looks by combining skirt and pants :)
